Warm oatmeal with banana and ashwagandha

- 2 gOrganic Ashwagandha Serene State
- 50 goat flakes
- 200 mloat drink
- 1 pcripe banana
- ½ tspground cinnamon
- pinchsalt
- 1 tspmaple syrup
- To serve
- 1 tbspalmond butter
Check the ingredient labels of what you buy (e.g. stock can contain celery).
Method
- Bring the oats, liquid, salt and cinnamon to a boil and, stirring, cook for 4–5 minutes until thickened.
- Meanwhile, slice half the banana into rounds and fry them in a dry pan for 2 minutes on each side.
- Remove the pot from the heat, stir in the ashwagandha and the remaining banana, mashed with a fork.
- Pour into a bowl, top with the caramelized banana, drizzle with syrup and almond butter.
Tip: Stir the ashwagandha in at the end, when the oats are off the heat – that way it distributes evenly without lumps.
