We recommend taking ashwagandha and turmeric in cycles (8–12 weeks, followed by a 2–4 week break), and reishi in cycles of 8–10 weeks with a 1–4 week break.

Junai HER is based on two scientifically proven mechanisms: iodine is an essential micronutrient for the synthesis of thyroid hormones, which regulate the body's energy metabolism, while vitamin B6 acts as a cofactor in more than 100 enzymatic reactions, including in macronutrient metabolism and the regulation of hormonal activity.

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) naturally contains polysaccharides and triterpenes. Polysaccharides are complex carbohydrates that in the scientific literature are often researched in connection with the body's immune response. Triterpenes are plant compounds characterised by a bitter taste, studied in research mainly because of their chemical structure and their role in the body's response to everyday stress. Junai uses exclusively the fruiting body powder of the mushroom, the part that is traditionally used and most often researched.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) contains withanolides – a group of steroidal lactones that in the Ayurvedic tradition and modern research literature are associated with the plant's adaptogenic action. Their effect does not show immediately, but with regular, long-term use as part of a daily routine.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) contains curcuminoids, the best known of which is curcumin, as well as polyphenols and essential oils. These compounds are in the scientific literature often associated with processes involved in the body's response to oxidative stress and everyday strain.
