How we verify reviews

Product reviews on junai.life are submitted only by customers who bought and received the product. This page explains how we ensure this, which rules apply to publication and how the average shown is calculated.

Who can submit a review

  • Only a customer who bought the product from Junai and received it can review it. After delivery we send a personal link to the e-mail address used for the order; it is valid for one order and one product.
  • There is no public review form. Without a personal link a review cannot be submitted, which is why every review is marked “Verified purchase”. For subscriptions the label “subscription” is added.
  • One review is possible per order and product. The customer can edit it with the same link until our team has checked it.

When we ask for a review

  • Usually 14 days after delivery (up to 21 days for some products); for subscriptions only after the first shipment. You receive at most one review request or survey every 60 days, with one reminder.
  • We inform you about this when you buy. Every message contains a one-click unsubscribe link; you can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to hi@junai.life. The review link is valid for 60 days.

No rewards, no selection

  • We do not offer any reward, discount or other benefit for a review and we do not ask for positive reviews. We do not buy reviews and we do not write them ourselves.
  • We ask all customers for a review under the same rules, regardless of the rating we expect. If we ever introduced a reward, it would be the same for every review submitted, regardless of its content, and it would be clearly disclosed.

How we moderate

  • Star-only ratings count towards the average without waiting. Reviews with text or a photo are checked by the Junai team before publication, usually within 2 working days.
  • We publish all reviews, positive and negative, under the same rules. We do not hide low ratings; our customer care team may contact the customer, but this does not affect publication.
  • We do not publish a text or photo that contains claims about effects on health, the body or body weight (positive or negative; Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006), personal data, content not about the product, offensive or unlawful content, advertising, or where there is a reasonable suspicion that the review is not genuine. A rejected review does not count towards the average.
  • We do not change the content of reviews. We may only correct an obvious typo; every correction is logged. We never change the number of stars.

How the average is calculated

  • The average is the arithmetic mean of all approved ratings from verified buyers of this product, rounded to one decimal place. It includes star-only ratings and ratings without consent to publish (these count without a name), in all languages.
  • It does not include reviews waiting to be checked, rejected or deleted reviews, or quotes and testimonials that are not reviews of verified purchases. We show such quotes without stars.
  • The number of ratings and the distribution by stars are shown next to the average. We use the same figures in structured data for search engines and in product catalogues.

How reviews are shown

  • By default the newest reviews in the language of the page are shown; you can also sort them by rating or show reviews in other languages. Reviews are not machine-translated.
  • Each review shows the name chosen by the customer (first name and initial of the surname, or “Customer from …”), the country, the date and the label “Verified purchase”. We never publish the e-mail address or the order.

Reply from Junai

  • We may reply to a review publicly. The reply is marked “Reply from Junai” and is shown below the review.

Withdrawing publication and your rights

  • You can withdraw your consent to publish your text, name and photo at any time with the link from the e-mail (it works even after it has expired) or by writing to hi@junai.life. With the link, the review is removed from the website immediately; by e-mail within 2 working days. Your stars keep counting without a name unless you ask us to delete the review.
  • We process your review in accordance with our privacy policy. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection.
  • You can report a review you consider inappropriate to hi@junai.life.
